I too, was a little surprised to hear someone say they think DeMarco is a straight ahead runner. The New York Times and GridironGab.com breakdowns of the senior bowl practice, both praise his quick cuts between the tackles and his finesse running, but talk about him needing to put on about 10-15 lbs. of muscle to be prepared for the NFL in order to run head-on with big guys. It just seems to be a complete contradiction of what was reported here. I also think there can be a bias if you are comparing him to Roy Finch, who makes 30 cuts in 5 yards. Finch moves like a player from the original Tecmo Bowl. So many cuts almost looks programmed as if a REALLY good video gamer is fanatically pushing buttons on a controller. It seems like after seeing Finch’s cuts, people forget that DeMarco is and has always been a finesse runner, with ballet like jumps and maneuvers, and they even goes for 2010. Go back and watch the highlights, or the whole games preferably. Other predictions have him going as high as the 2nd running back. I think 3rd round was not a fair shake. I suppose we will have to wait and see though.

Ummmm, apparently no one has seen the video of him breaking the touchdown record… he juked out of about 3 or 4 tackles on that run…

Murray was a shifty runner 2 or 3 yrs ago. Nowadays, not so much. Hopefully, when completely healed up, rested, and good training, he can regain some of that.

He is crazy does demarco make people miss??? challenging his elusiveness is completely opposite of what demarco has done his whole career.

No surprises in this analyusis. DeMarco and Jeremy were grate college players with questions about their NFL potential. I think if Davis were ask he would tell us that both of these guys have a better chance because they are quality people who achieve beyond their talent due to hardwork and metnal toughness.

As for Quinton Carter – Davis just saw what we all saw for the past few seasons. This guyis probably better than his stellar reputation.

I wish all 3 the best. These are guys that that reflect well on themselves,their families and OU.
