Crud! I just knew all this young blood had been too quiet all year, and that Stills had that “loose cannon” look in his eye all the time on the field.

Broyles got a year off to think about whether he really wanted to be a Bob Stoops Sooner. He made his choice. Stoops cannot afford to let all the other youths on this very young team even begin to think that they can show such slack in their judgement.

We love you, Mr. Stills, but expect you to maybe do 12 months of “thinking about it” if you want to continue part of this team that is going places. No single player will be permitted to derail this next season or two with such cavalier behavior.

Give him the Broyles treatment and see if he really wants to be part of a team or a lone wolf. Southern Cal has a place for guys like that. We don’t.

Norman cops are a bunch of idiots. The kid blew a 0.4….whippty freakin do. They’re in college and more importantly they play for OU. Don’t suspent them just send them to Coach Schmidt.

I am not condoning any of the actions of these boys. However,I think we all seem to forget that humans make mistakes; and especially children. Let us not forget that these boys are 18 and 19 – away from home for the first time, and have been put into a spotlight in which they chose. There are kids who are arrested everyday on the account of Drunk Driving – and the difference between those kids, and the OU kids – is that they are on ESPN weekly.

Again, I am not condoning their actions, and they should be given the correct punishment. However, for people to blast them and think less of them either forget that not a soul in our human race is perfect, and that perfection does not exist. What matters now, is how they learn from this, how they will overcome this, and show that this is not a part of their characters, rather – a childish mistake.

Stills blew a .04.. Technically not over the limit but because Oklahoma has a zero tolerance policy for minors, he was arrested.
Also Trotter, Both Tony Jefferson and Kenny Stills are only 18. Jefferson turns 19 later this week and Stills doesn’t turn 19 until late April. Just saying…

no OU players get special treatment from the Daily Oklahoman. Where is Jenni calling for the suspension of the players where are all of the Gooner comments under the story. Where is the mugshot? Three different things that happened when it was Blackmon. Three different things that did NOT happen when it was the beloved OU players.

I now realize the wisdom of Stoops hire of Kittle. We need a preacher on staff to keep these kids inline. Stoops is leading college football into the 21st century with his cutting edge innovations. First, the 5 kickers on scholarship (only the punter is competent), second, tightend conversions to center, guard, defensive end, and fullback versus recruiting players who actually play those positions (in 2011 hopefully a converted tightend may solve the placekicker problem). Third, a team preacher/coach to pray for special team improvement (In 2011 may we not lead the NCAA in giving up kickoff returns for touchdowns for 3rd time in the last 4 years). I can’t wait for what surprises Stoops has in store for 2011!

Stills should be suspended immediately; Jeffreson bust seems shaky…he must of pissed off a cop by saying something…you know, exercising some foul-mouthed free speech. Mugshots might not have been available yet. It’s so funny to read the bitter sour grape whining from Cowboy fans. What’s the matter? Inferiority complex. Don’t blame Sooner nation for having the better, more respected and popular program. Win a couple dozen Big 12 tiles and a few national championships and then you’ll be treated equal. Remember, it’s not The Marxist Oklahoman; just the Oklahoman.

Hmm instead of mugshots and Jenni telling Stoops he needs to suspend they get their game pics…haa promoting them instead of penalizing them. Good job Daily OUhoman. Your true coverage shows again. At least your consistent in your bias coverage. Did you notice no chance to comment on the main story..?? Hmmm ..does the paper own OU or OU own the paper?
