To H Swaby...You also forgot that Landry missed a wide open Kenny in the first half by inches. OU settled for a FG. Also T. Lewis and Hurst dropped pick sixes each. It evened itself out.

Another thing to ponder. There is an obvious foundation of something special going on with this "Big Red" group. No matter who the opponents were this year, or will be next year, you get the sense momentum is building to knock the door down. It appears this is the magic moment Bob has been looking for ever since he signed on to head up this great traditional island of college football.

Steve, OU and Bob Stoops have nothing to do with the way the Bowl Commission sets up bowl games. It's kinda nice playing an easier team for once, especially when you play for national titles and BCS bowls almost every year. I think OU has played for the most national titles this decade and played in the most BCS bowls as well. Those caliber games are much harder than the Capital One Bowl, the Holiday Bowl, Alamo, ect. Bob Stoops and some of the past OU teams may have lost some big games, but they've still won more Big 12 titles and played in more National Titles than any other team. Plus, I'm pretty sure Stoops has produced more Heisman winners and All-Americans than almost every coach in the game today. The man is a great coach with an outstanding winning percentage. He's definitely a top 5 coach out there and that's why he gets great records with great talented players year in and year out.

Slightly off topic, I disagree with Jake Trotter's comment in the post-game analysis that "Uconn is fortunate they only lost by 28." It's a game of inches and Uconn could have gotten a couple of first downs on 4th and inches- and if so it may have changed the outcome considerably. Also, there were a couple of interceptions on balls that popped out of Uconn WR's hands and right into OU defenders hands- right place, right time and they just ran it into the end zone. Uconn should not have run that last play by handing to Todman and having him go up the middle. That was so unbelievably predictable, my grandmother could have stopped him. If a couple little things went differently, the score could easily ave been 48-27 0r even 34-27. Jake, let's give Uconn a little credit where credit is do. Though overmatched, these guys played with heart and played competitively- and never quit.

Intellectual comment Steve. I guess beating a top 10 ranked rival on their home field to take away a division title from them and beating another highly ranked rival in a conference championship aren't very big wins are they?
