Never listen to ESPN, don't get me wrong I watch it faithfully because they have the industry on lock. But they jump at any innuendo and speculation. If you read the scroll across the bottom they will word news items and use words like "implied" "suggested". I don't know when they turned the corner and started using gossip for news, especially when Joe Schad is involved.

Besides, we know they love Texas, not as much now but the last few years it was obvious. Was it five years ago that Bob Stoops suggested ESPN had an agenda, although it blew up in our face because we went on to lose every meaningful Bowl game afterwards I still believe he had a point. If you ever listen to Colin Cowherd, the best at what he does, he very rarely mentions Oklahoma when talking about elite football programs.

Its really a farce but what do you do? Boomer Sooners and congratulations to all of those that have earned their education and the ones that haven't hopefully they will.

Glad to see the three former players come back and finish. I think this is one area that Stoops, with Castiglione's backing, does well. Seems that once a Sooner, always a Sooner. The university welcomes these young men back and offers them the services they can to help them be sucessful.

ESPN citing those studies is such a joke. Remember when Sampson was said to be gradutating 0% of his players. Turns out they didn't count JUCO transfers or those leaving early for the NBA or transferring to another school. The number was more like 80%. Take those studies with a grain of salt.

It wasn't that long ago that ESPN ran an article about school/football graduation rates for this year seniors. They ended the article suggesting OU wasn't going to graduate any SR's. It's unlikely ESPN can or will correct their error. But I'm glad I know better.
