Every year there are outstanding players that get the short-end of the voting, and this year is no exception. Congratulations to all of the honorees, and to the former Big Eight teams, isn’t it great to see only three players from Texas teams on the first ballot? I can’t wait for the real champions of the Big (Texas) League to face once more in a great game…the Sooners and the Huskers…it doesn’t get any better than that, right Baby Beebe?

Just hope Landry goes out on Saturday night and plays his best and the Sooners win the Big 12. Individual awards are nice. Team success is the ultimate measuring stick.

Hopefully this fires Landry up, and Broyles is equally charged up by being left off the All-America Team.

i agree with the voting after the last game idea, this makes it fair. i think landry at least should have been 2nd team QB. would i put him first team probably for his stats i would. but there are some pretty fine qb’s in the big12 this year so it is hard to say a definte yes.

Voting before all the regular season conference games are complete is just ridiculous. Not sure how anybody can justify that.

Landry had, by far, the best stats.

It’s asinine they vote before the last game. The week where many of the biggest rivalry games are played.
