Chuck, you dont know what you are talking about..Auburn should NOT be awarded anything. They didnt play in the game. You either vacate it or give it to OU. Why would Auburn be deserving?

Bob Stoops is so full of crap. The 04 Championship is USC’s. They whipped the holy living hell out of OU. Oklahoma pays players, supplies homes and cars for their players and generally cheats their arses off. They always have and Stoops knows it. They are paying players right now as I type these words. HYPOCRITE! OU paid players in 2004 whom played in that game. All programs have paid players. Get it? it’s how it’s done. Go to Norman, scratch the surface and under the table money will pour out of that program.

USC should keep the NC because they earned it. Reggie Bush should be penalized not the University. USC was hands down the best team in the country and they would have beaten Auburn too. Auburn did not play in the BCS NC game and therefore does not deserve the trophy. If the AP writers want to revoke their trophy to USC and give it to Auburn then so be it, but the BSC trophy as to be won in the game

What a whiney crybaby. Even if Reggie Bush had not played, USC would still have dominated that game. I seem to remember Lendale White and Steve Smith doing a majority of the damamge. Plus Reggie Bush DIDNT PLAY DEFENSE in that game. Stoops is PATHETIC!!!

Stoops is the height of hypocrisy and symbolic of what is remiss with the archaic and similarly hypocritical NCAA. DI football stopped being an amateur sport many decades ago and it was institutions like Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas, etc. that put it in the category Stoops is now crying over. “Crocodile tears!”

I think the 2004 National Championship should be vacated or awarded to Auburn and I am a diehard Sooner Fan.
