Money, Money, like the old ABBA song. In the words of the
notorious Tony Saprano, "Money Talks, BS Walks". Right now
all the 10 schools that stayed have is promise's, from a
guy who has questionable ethics and character. We'll know
in a couple of season's if this Bebe dude is for real. The
only school that has made a positive move so far is Nebraska.
The only thing that all this has shown for a fact is OU has
a couple of panty waisted liberals leading them. Ball-Bag
Costiglione and Stuttering Dave.

Come on folks. It isn't hard to figure out. It is about money. Specifically television revenue dollars. Those dollars do not care about tradition, fan support, or rivalries. Television dollars are figured based upon the add revenue generated by the televised sporting events. The add revenues are calculated by the number of viewers watching the sports event. That is calculated by the rating times the number of televisions in a market.

The Big 12 geographic area, while rich in sports rivalries, and tradition is low in population and TV sets, thus the TV income is less than half that of the Big 10 and SEC. Big time sports takes big time money. To get the number of top recruits to win consistently requires top notch facilities, think money) and top notch coaches and staff, (think money).

As in life, to find the motivation for most actions, follow tthe money.

Why don't they stick together and stay in the Big XII? Add BYU and some other team and carry on. Super conferences will kill college football in my opinion. Keep the rivalries alive!!!
