Conditioning, talent, shooting ability, all that is dependant upon his work ethic. I don’t think he showed too much of that at OU – even though he had all the potential in the world. He has small moments in college in which he looked fantastic, but mostly he was not a noticeable presence on the court. They must train his mind also if they want Tiny Gallon to turn into an NBA everyday player. I wouldn’t give up on him yet, either. But he lacks maturity and basketball savvy, and, more importantly, good moral (decision-making) balance. This would cost not only him, but the team that selected him if he doesn’t get it together.

Wow. I am surprised. I could tell he was skilled but while he appeared light on his feet, he also displayed zero vertical lift. Wish him luck.

One thing Sooner Fans. We need to be more forgiving. I was hard on the team this year because it was one thing after another but these guys are 19 and 20 years old. They still need support even from us “scorned fans”. It always bothers me when a Football player doesn’t even recognize his college team and says his high school. They made mistakes, lets support them and move on. Good Luck Tiny, WW and TMG. Boomer Sooner!

Gallon has absolutely zero chance of playing in the NBA. You can put any remotely decent defensive NBA player on that fatty and he’ll NEVER get a shot off. Seriously…how’s he going to score on those guys? Not to mention the fact that he has a low basketball IQ and plays no defense. Imagine him going against somebody like Kenyon Martin, Kevin Garnett or Ron Artest. This guy needed at least 2 more years of college to even think about getting ready for the NBA. If he gets drafted at all it’s a joke.

Holy crap. Dez Bryant breaks no laws whatsover, breaks no ncaa competition rules but lies about it so they inflict the most severe penalty possible and take away the remainder of his college career immediately! And then his draft status drops precipitously for reasons nobody can really explain. Gallon, who has shown relatively little talent has his draft status rising upon news that he was paid to come to OU and play? Just another example of the relative horrifically inequitable way OU and OSU athletics get treated by media and ncaa.
