The Stoop's new house is *not* in the path of either the 1999 F5 or 2003 F4 tornadoes (which took the same basic path). Both tornadoes passed about 4 miles to the northwest.

2001->2002

2005->2006

In both instances the previous year's o-line was TERRIBLE, lost it's best players to the draft, yet miraculously rebounded to championship form the next season.

I expect 2009->2010 to be no different.

Let's here your response to FACTS, jim.

My oh my! Here we are coming off of an abyssmal season and our fans immediately begin to exhibit their excellent, highly schooled view point. Yes, last years O line was completely disorganized at the beginning of the year. That, coupled with sub-par schemes and poor blocking from the backs got Sam Bradford killed and potentially cost him some bucks (We will see after his much delayed pro day). I think that this article points out the level of focus that the staff is putting on protecting newbie Lanry Jones and opening holes for a stable of great backs. I expect the theme to shift next year and also expect very good, not great production. The defense is of much more concern. In case you two have not noticed, the draft board contains the only names that kept OU from being blown out at the Red River shootout. Youngsters had better step up to the plate quickly or the non-conference schedule will doom OU to another year of also ran bowl games. Focus on the prize...guys... and have some faith in one of the best coaching staffs in the country. One question....Why is Bobby Stoops building his new house directly in the path of the 1999 and 2003 F-5 tornados. Surely OU has advisors from the National Severe Storm Lab!!!
