Jeffcoat to commit 10 a.m. Friday
Plano West senior defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat – the No. 2 prospect in the country according to ESPN – will announce his college destination Friday at 10 a.m.
Jeffcoat was planning to announce his final decision Sunday night on a Dallas TV station, but his father, Jim Jeffcoat, told the Dallas Morning News that’s no longer the plan.
Earlier this week, Jackson eliminated Arizona State — where his dad played college football — from his finalists, and is now only considering Oklahoma, Texas and Houston.

I hope we pull the kid in, but I am also hoping for Cullen, the juco offensive lineman. For next year Cullen would likely be the bigger get, but for the future Jeffcoat has higher upside.

94 tackles and 7 sacks, followed up by 82 tackles and 9 sacks is not very dominating for a DE. O.K.

Be a nice grab, but this year’s recruiting class is already a stellar one. Whether he comes or not, we have had 2 solid years in a row in recruiting and will be in the hunt for Championship(s) again very very soon.

His stats were padded because of his last name, he had 5 total tackles through the first 5 games this year. My son plays on the same team. If his last name was Smith, you would even know he existed. WAY overrated, and short of injuries would never see the field at OU.
hope he signs with OU but he must leave his attitute in Houston or he wont siay or play .There is only room for one coach at OU and that is Bob Stoops.
