OU ends coach Chris Wilson interviewing in Starkville?
A Mississippi State Web site (BulldawgJunction.com) is reporting, citing unnamed sources, that Oklahoma defensive ends coach/special teams coordinator Chris Wilson has flown to Starkville, Miss., to interview for an assistant coaching position with the Bulldogs.
The Clarion-Ledger also believes that Wilson is in Starkville today.
It is unclear exactly what position Wilson could be interviewing for, however, would probably be some kind of co-defensive coordinator/defensive line positon.
Manny Diaz of Middle Tennessee State interviewed for the defensive coordinator job last night and today, the Clarion Ledger reported.
Miss. State needs two coaches to fill the shoes of a d-coordinator, a linebackers coach and a defensive line coach. Diaz, presumably, would fill the LB position; Wilson, if hired, the d-line spot.
Wilson has been at OU since 2005. Before that, he was the d-line coach at Colorado, Army and Illinois State.

Guess it’s time for Bobby Boy to bring in another Crony. I’m sure it will be
another Top-10 Div. 1 choice like Norvell, Venables, Patton, etc. One thing
we all know for sure is, we don’t want Stoops coaching special teams again.
Remember ’08! The last guy he brought in who was unemployed was a
little known coach named Bo Pelini. Just think, what if he stayed. We couldn’t
have that, what would you do with Bobby’s No.1 Crony, BV? OU fans got
hosed again.
