Remember when Spikes called OU dirty?
For those who haven’t heard, Florida LB Brandon Spikes was recently suspended for a half for attempting to eye-gouge Georgia running back Washaun Ealey.
Remember back in August, Spikes randomly attacked Oklahoma, calling them the dirty.
“Compared to Oklahoma, you won’t find anyone (as dirty),” Spikes said, referring to Florida’s meeting with OU in the national championship.
Pot, meet kettle.

Brandon Spikes is a loudmouth prima donna who plays dirty. He is a sore loser and an even worse winner.
His dirty play should have gotten him suspended for several games, if not the season. There is no excuse for his behavior! Even worse is the way that Baby Jesus Tebow defended him. Tebow is a hypocritical moron, and all his worshippers are morons too. I don’t like Spikes, Tebow or Florida (Talk about an axis of evil).
I despise Florida, and Spikes truly has some issues he needs to work on. But Tebow is a prototypical young man, worthy of respect and recognition. Football is my favorite sport, and I follow it whole heartedly, but what Tebow is doing off the field is amazing and what we need more young men to be like. Some things are temporary, while others are eternal and carry way more importance…Tebow is one of few student athletes that have figured out the difference…Praise God! I still don’t like Florida though!
I believe he needs to be suspended for more than a half! What he did was really dirty and uncalled for! Dirty, Dirty, Dirty!
He’s just another thug with athletic ability. One day his physical skills will be no more, then he’ll just be a thug.
Jerry, I agree with your comments about Spikes. However, your comments about Tebow and Florida are completely off base. I have nothing but respect for Urban Meyer and what he has accomplished at Florida. And as far as I have seen, Tebow has been nothing but respectful and a good sport.
Every team has its share of “pond scum” , even OU. Everybody knows or
remembers the thugs and punks Miami had under Jimmy and Dennis.
To a certain extent, Florida, is the new Miami. What they do on the field is probably nothing compared to what they do off the field. Flash back to Barry
and Pat, and what Gundy is going through trying to weed out all the scum.
