Difficult at times to see a Tashard Choice when you have Adrian Peterson in the mix. But at OU, USC, OSU (had Barry Sanders and Thurman Thomas at same time) some individuals don't get that opportunity to shine. Tashard transferred to GT and was outstanding - now on Dallas Cowboys roster. Then some of them get noticed at the Sr. Bowl and NFL combine. Look at OU this year, with Demarco Murray and Chris Brown starting, there are so many others that could/will play also. Jermie Calhoun, Mossis Madu, Michael Jones, Adeoye Samson, don't know the last two very well, plus Jonothan Miller incoming freshman. Justin Johnson just transferred to Abilene Christian and is working his way to first string. No wonder that happens with the log jam behind Murray and Brown. JJ is very talented, fast, and a super athlete. Hope he has a great career. As far as Jason White goes, he had bad knees and that worked ok for college, just didn't pan out for NFL. To say Eli is better would be accurate, took his team to and won a Super Bowl. But had Jason's knees been sound, would loved to have seen how far he may have gone.

If your priorities are to start and play, then transferring
is the thing to do. OU had another half-back that left for
G.T. and is now getting a shot at making the Dallas Cowboy Roster. I wouldn't call that a shattered dream, I'd call
that $$$$. Kind of like Jason White and Eli Manning being
up for the Heisman. Jason won and this year Manning got a
30+ million dollar contract. Who actually won? You figure
it out.

How can one's ego stand the transfer from playing at OU to ASU. You would think his dreams are shattered.
