Sooners in the NFL
Ran across several photos of former Sooners working out with their new NFL teams over the weekend. Most of the teams have rookie minicamps going on. Here are a few of the pics:

- There were actually a few photos of the Bears’ Juaquin Iglesias dropping passes, but here’s one of him catching the ball during one of the team’s minicamp workout at Halas Hall on Friday, May. (AP PHOTO/Nam Y. Huh)
- Ok, so he’s not new to the NFL, but here’s the Jets’ Allen Patrick pulling in a pass during minicamp in Florham Park, N.J. on Friday, May 1. (AP PHOTO/BILL KOSTROUN)
- Duke Robinson is still sportin’ the dreds. Robinson worked out with the rest of the Panthers rookies in Charlotte, N.C. on Friday, May 1. (AP PHOTO/RICK HAVNER)

Loadholt impressing
According to The Sporting News, OU offensive tackle Phil Loadholt was one of seven players who impressed most during rookie mini camps this past weekend.
Loadholt, drafted by the Vikings in the second round, is on the right track so far, displaying “quick footwork for a player his size.”
Loadholt has the chance to start at right tackle in Minnesota. If he does, Loadholt and Bryant McKinnie will give the Vikings and running back Adrian Peterson a pair of 6-foot-8 bookends at tackle.

Braxton signed by the Browns
Former Sooner offensive tackle Branndon Braxton has signed a free-agent contract with the Cleveland Browns. He is the fifth undrafted Sooner to sign a free-agent deal, joining WR Quentin Chaney (Rams), DB Lendy Holmes (Redskins), C Jon Cooper (Vikings) and OG Brandon Walker (Texans).
Braxton started at right tackle for OU in 2007, but lost his starting job to Trent Williams last season. He also battled various injuries that kept him from playing much in 2008.
Cleveland should be a nice fit for Braxton, who grew up in nearby Youngstown, Ohio.
