OU will definitely have their hands full. Venables defense has never done
well against a run-pass quarterback like Tebow, McCoy, OSU, K-State, as
a few examples, and BYU will bring a bag of stuff to confuse an already
weak defense. Stoops will not be able to give up easy scores with his special
teams he coach's, they will have to play better than they have the last 2
years. The mountain west conference had a better non-conference winning
percentage than the Big 12 with Utah and BYU and Bowl wins. There are
still a lot of fans that remember the '84 season when OU objected to BYU
winning the "mythical" NC. They named a sewage treatment plant in Provo,
the Barry Switzer Treatment Facility. I just hope Stoops understands that
this is an important game, but at the same time the reality of it is, he hasn't
been a great road coach in the past 5-6 seasons, whether it is the
Cotton Bowl or a Bowl game. It would be great to win.

I love Jake's stuff, this isn't a dig on him, but The Oklahoman needs someone to QC this paper. This is NOT an article!!!!!!! It's a quick thought. Maybe, instead of having 25 of these thoughts, you should combine them and have an actual article.
