Stoops on Dan Patrick Show
Thursday, Bob Stoops spoke about Josh Jarboe’s dismissal on the Dan Patrick Show. Here’s what he had to say:
“Just disappointed. I know there are difference styles of music. In the end, it was the two things together, the fact that he came in with an arrest already and with the understanding from us, nothing but exemplary behavior was going to be tolerated.
When asked if he fought to keep Jarboe on the team:
“No. It was something that needed to be thought through and discussed. There’s a different dynamic with the Internet. But in the end everything is public.”
On telling Jarboe the news:
“It was very difficult. He was very hurt and crushed. But understood where we had to be.”

It had to happen, but I hope this kid’s talent doesn’t get wasted. He needs to turn things around, get on another team and make an impact.
