Men’s hoops: Griffin heads to locker room

By Scott Wright

Blake Griffin appeared to injure his right knee about five minutes into Saturday’s game against Texas A&M. Griffin was escorted to the locker room by team physician Dr. Brock Schnebel.

Griffin sprained the medial collateral ligament in his left knee earlier this season and still wears a brace on the knee.

Griffin was knocked to the floor after a missed Texas A&M basket. He ran to the other end of the court, but came out of the game after the Sooners’ possession. Trainer Alex Brown looked at the knee and Griffin was in obvious pain.
