Men’s hoops: National folks still have faith

By Scott Wright

Taking a look around some of the national bracket projections, many analysts still believe Oklahoma is an NCAA Tournament team.

If you listened to our most recent Sooner Express podcast, you know that I currently see the Sooners on the outside looking in.

But ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi had OU as a No. 6 seed in last Friday’s bracket and dropped them to a No. 9 on Monday. The Sooners vs. Florida would be a blast, if you ask me. And the potential for the Jeff Capel/Mike Krzyzewski matchup in the second round is even better.

Jerry Palm of CollegeRPI.com has OU as a No. 10 seed. Brad Evans of Yahoo! has them at No. 11. And NITology.com, an NIT bracketology Web site, still hasn’t begun to look at the Sooners as a potential team.
