Dontre is potentially a good back. He would have the opportunity in the Cowboy system, most likely immediately. At Texas, he is just another 4 star that will likely never develope. Mack Brown can recruit but you still need to coach them up. He said Kendall Hunter wasn’t good enough to play for Texas. He only was a two time All American at OSU while Texas did little to nothing with Jamel Charles.

He will have plenty of real good competition staying at Oregon or going to Texas. These two teams are pretty well loaded with running backs.

OState, with Randle leaving, have some good running backs but none to me that have a “franchise” at the position. Dontre looked to me to be an outstanding back that could of stepped in and made a name for himself these next 4 years…and OState is known for developing some real good running backs. I am sure OState will be fine but Dontre will most likely be cooling his butt on the bench next fall.
