I think LDR’s decision was made long ago…he just left it at “soft verbal” out of respect for Monken, but he was effectively gone when he changed his commit to soft verbal. Once Todd was gone, there was no reason to pretend any longer.

I hppe De Rio does well whereever he goes — I am sure he saw the writing on the wall when the Cowboys have three QB’s with OVER 1,000 yards passing with plenty of game experience —- I look for the Cowboys to hire another top notch O-coordinator to replace Todd, I expected to be hired by a higher profile University.

I am sure LDR is a good QB but we have 3 real good ones on tap at this time and they have plenty of playing time left. OU has a few benchwarmers of their own and I always wonder why these guys have stayed…next year with Landry gone there should be a battle and then defections at OU.

We truly need some more Dlineman and DB’s. On the offensive side we also need 2 good RB’s… Overall though for next year we are in good shape hoping that some freshman D guys step up.

I would be happy if for the next 2 or 3 years, OSU recruited more defense than offensive players.

Don’t need him anyway! Need to recruit some defensive players!!!! Offense was not a problem this season and shouldn’t be for the next 4-5 years with Lunt/Walsh unless they transfer out! Focus on an OC and should be lookin for a DO as well!
