OSU was 2 plays away from a 9 win season. In the Baylor game, dropped two TD passes or would have won that game as well. Point is, despite tons of injuries- 2 starting WRs out much of the year and a bad calls (see Texas) OSU a hair from having another 9 or 10 win season.

Doesn’t matter if he built a new home worth $1 million (which I dunno how much it was worth) if you’ve been making $3 million/year. You can afford to let it go on a short sale, esp. if Tennessee offers a comparable offer. Gundy has shown that he cannot be trusted to eb consistent, his best seasons the result of having a star player as opposed to having a great coach. 12-1 to 7-5 is a pretty big drop. And Gundy himself has not denied the rumours, amounting to “no comment” responses. Yeah he’s better appreciated than Les Miles but that’s still setting the bar pretty low. Time to spend $3 million on someone a lot more consistent…or $1 million for someone at LEAST as good.

Gundy is not going anywhere remember he said the Oklahoma State head coaching job was his dream job. Didn’t Gundy just finish building a house in Stillwater? Unless Pickens or Holder pulled a Jerry Jones. Gundy is here for awhile. If he were to decide to go. O.S.U. only has to look in their own back yard and make Monken the Head Coach. This Oklahoman Newspaper speculation is always fun to read and listen to. Their hoping O.S.U. is simply a mirage.
They are probably hoping Gundy or Monken leaves. Next year will not be good for the Sooners. Everything looks good next year for the O.S.U. football and basketball teams over the next few years. That cannot be said for the Sooner football and basketball teams in the coming years.
