Gina is doing a good job of covering our Cowboys and has yet to be forced into joining the cult of ou worshipers at the OUklahoman in spite of their constant witnessing and whining.

Gina is from Arizona and is the most likely to move on (as most OSU beat writers with talent do) to greater things outside the OKC area.

I love me some OSU sports, but Ford is not going to be able to hang around much longer. He is simply not getting the best results out of his teams.

Sure, he won, but it took a Herculean effort in the last few seconds of a seemingly lost game.

Defensively, it’s as though Ford hasn’t a clue about the thing that wins championships.
Offensively, there doesn’t seem to be rhyme nor reason as to his approach.

I sure do miss Eddie Sutton style of basketball…Defense and WINNING!

It might be helpful to know that Akron was missing three would be starters to suspension. Treadwell, Harner (return tomorrow) and Diggs (out for the season).

The top four teams in the MAC would be competitive in the Big 12.

Chance.. you need to stop commenting. You haven’t paid much attention to Cowboy basketball.

Slater.. Embarrassing loss? Hell, OSU was only favored by 3 going into the game. The reason for that, and as the announcers mentioned, Akron has won 22+ games, made several NCAAs, and is in the Mid America Conference championship nearly every year the passed seven years. It was a good, hard fought win.

OSU needs to clean up the turnovers and hit the boards. The opponents’ offensive rebounding through the first two games is hurting OSU bad.

Chance…Williams was most definitely a starter or at minimal a key contributor. He was probably OSU most well rounded and consistent player last year. Losing him for the year, is substantial.

OSU is not injury laden, why do you “reporters” keep suggesting as such? Brian Williams was NOT a starter, he wasn’t even going to be the 6th man. The only starter out is only out for 4 weeks, hardly the majority of the season. Can’t say about J.P. but that happened today, and you guys and the urinal have been spewing this apparent Fox News style of reporting all over my clean computer.

Either leave your bias towards ou at the door, or stop writing OSU articles…none of us college alumni would care if you stopped.
