I think they sacked Ash once or twice. They should have gotten to him about 5 or 6 times and that might have changed the outcome of this game. He had all day to find his receivers (esp. Shipley). But, gotta hand it to them, they knew what they had to do, and they did it.

Bowl-worthy type game - one of the best so far this season. Well-played on both sides. I don't feel like we were robbed. It happens. We'll take the loss, but if we can give that kind of effort from here on out, we'll be in the hunt for the championship still. am not disappointed at all in the Cowboys. I am very impressed with their game preparation, except for a few defensive let-downs on 3rd down passes. But they shut down Texas run game and forced the passes. Who knew David Ash was this much improved?

Great game. No denying Texas drove the field. OSU had plenty of chances to get them off and claim the game. Last TD was what it was. Cowboy defense should have played a couple of inches better. Go Pokes.

Watching that last play is heartbreaking. However, much as I want to scream about it, (and I did) it would never had happened if OSU's defense could have held on that 4th and 6 during the Horns' final drive. The time for moral victories is past at Oklahoma State. Yes, I'm extremely encouraged about the offense. Yes, Walsh and Randle played lights out. That's what's such a damnable shame about the whole mess. We *almost* beat number 10 Texas. Almost. *sigh* Still--there were many positives so there is hope.

OSU had plenty of chances to win so the fumble should have never been the factor. BUT, after reading that the Fox replay analyst said that the replay did show that Texas did fumble before crossing the goal line but OSU"s recovery was not called before the scrum so the Cowboys could not be awarded the ball. Now my question is that if the runner fumbled the ball before crossing the goal how does he get credit for the touchdown? Who does get credit for the touchdown? They can not give the the fumbled ball to the last player to have it visually after ther fumble because of a scrum but they can give credit for the touchdown to the last person who had it before he fumbled before crossing the goal. (by the way Lowe seemed to reach in with one hand to get the ball out of the so called scrum. To make a long story short we have a Texas player that fumbled before going into the endzone in the official stats getting credit for a touchdown at the one yard line.
