Texas is untested like OSU... Horns defense is being touted as great but they have given up big plays both passing and running. They have yet to play an offense like OSU which does not look to have lost much since the graduation of Weeden and Blackmon to the NFL. OSU has not played a super defense as of yet but they are leading the Nation in offense.

Texas had a poor offense last year. Yeah they have scored big against Missippi but what caliber defense did Mississippi. Ash never was pressured in that game and receivers were wide wide open. If OSU's dline stuffs the run and can put pressure on Ash it will be a long game for Texas...OSU Calvin Barnet is a real good tackle and he will be difficult for Texas to control.

I predict a 7 point game in OSU's favor...28 OSU and 21 Texas.

Walsh will be just fine....

I agree, however there's one issue being ignored for this game and that is that Texas has trememdous challenges the following two weeks after this clash which should create some concern if Texas has even the slightest injury development during this game and especially in the first three quarters. If that situation develops I look for Texas to take the high road and play very conservative because they can ill afford to expect to take either WV or OU with less than full strength. And current feelings are that their toughest test of the year will stroll into Austin next Saturday fully loaded and ready to devour all the beef they can eat and some to take back for a long WV winter. And then that leads us to the following week of which the Sooners will be very irritated and carrying a huge chip on their shoulder and who should they have to take it out on but the little 'ole Horns. Be careful what you wish for Mack!!
