This is a game that shouldn't have been played in the first place let alone "revisited". This brought nothing but shame to OSU. But they aren't alone. Next up for Savannah State is Florida State. Another game that shouldn't be played. As long as Boone Pickens agrees to let OSU schedule these types of games this will continue. He needs to go into the athletic offices and say I didn't shell out nearly a billion dollars so OSU can beat up on teams who aren't eligible for the BCS even if they went undefeated. OU is nearly as bad this week with Florida A&M. If you are going to play a team from Tallahassee at least make it FSU.

Obviously the press box didn't have the updated depth chart dated 8-23-12 as they missed several names of the players whose jersey numbers have changed since last spring due to position changes. Big disappointment to those who get little to no playing time but made big plays Saturday night, then didn't get to hear their name called in BPS because of misinformation. Example, big hit on a kickoff by #16 Colby Ellis but Andra May's name was called as making the tackle. Huge disappointment for player and family who have waited a long time for the kid to get in a game. BTW, he was also player of the week in practice, which the media and public never know about, a recognition he received 3 times last year as a walk on.

<em>Brenda,

Ellis actually is on the depth chart I received in the press box. But, obviously, I have no control over what the PA announcer says. Andrae May is still recovering from a torn ACL, so clearly it wasn't him making any tackle on Saturday. But I'm sure it was an honest mistake made in the heat of the moment, because they both wear No. 16. PA announcer Larry Reece is really good at his job. I do know, however, that the roster wasn't completely updated by the coaches before the game. As noted above, the AP got a shot of a No. 47 and the OSU officials didn't know who he was. As far as Ellis being named Player of the Week in practice...those honors are not announced by the program and I'm not allowed to report on practice. Thanks for reading.
