One of my favorite uniforms from last year was at Texas A&M when the pokes sported white jerseys, grey pants and gray helmets with a black face mask. The black face mask is really what made it look sharp.

It sure would be interesting to see what an orange helmet would do…

They could come out in lime green jerseys and I wouldn’t care (well, maybe a little). As long as it says OSU on the helmet and Cowboys on the front, I’ll be cheering.

They need to lose everything gray. White, black and orange jerseys,helments and pants would give plenty of combinations. Black and gray are NOT contrasting colors.

Let me first state that I Love my Pokes!
My next comment will say, I can’t stand the change in uniforms adding the Gray. Tradition is Great and Winning is even better.
Please stop the madness of crazy color change, adding colors and numbers the slant. I thought Baylor was bad, I see my beloved Cowboys leaning that way.

Actually, there will be an orange helmet at some point this season. I work closely with the team. It has not been made completely clear whether or not the helmet will have Pistol Pete or another OSU logo. But I’ve been told by about 95% of the people I’ve talked to that there will be an orange helmet.

i was hoping to see the entire orange ensemble! helmet, jersey, pants, socks, shoes!!!!! maybe if we would have played in the national championship and maybe this year against west virginia!

Late last season there was a picture of a new football helmet that was orange with a black cowboy pete on it. When and will we ever use it? To me it’s the best helmet I’ve ever seen!!! GO POKES!!!

That was not an official OSU helmet. Someone must have just designed it themselves, and then it started spreading around the Internet and such. As of now, OSU does not have orange helmets.
