@Ed– there was NONE. And that’s why there has been such a stir about the verdict.

@The truth– Anything is possible, but we don’t know that he knows anything. Unless it can be proven, it’s all null and void.

At any rate, after the recent motion and the proceedings today, it looks as though a little rationality is about to be injected back into this mess. And maybe the Payne Co. “system” will have a little more motivation to mind its P’s and Q’s now that the world is watching what we do.

Maybe there will be justice after all.

The sad part is who is he willing to take the fall for because from my understanding the two that did it left the state! And I don’t what u say there are two many at that party not to know something! And how all this support comes out after they find him guilty weird I think so… So don’t gamble ur life and try to beat the house trying to cover up someone eles problem!

I do not believer there were any victims of Darrell Williams, not because the women were lying but because the only evidence against him was their identification. And eyewitness identification is wrong nearly every time, even when the eyewitness is a woman raped in her bed. There are far greater chances for it to be wrong when the identification is between different races. In this case, it is likely a wrongful conviction–again. And prosecutors whose mission is to win at any cost, never mind truth, fairness, justice.

This is why I wrote “Accidental Felon”–to try to get more people to realize the cards are stacked for the prosecutors. Once they decide on a defendant, there is little reason to hope. And appeals courts rarely overturn convictions. If they do, because prosecutors ignored exculpatory evidence or manufactured evidence or witnesses, prosecutors usually are not named and they suffer no penalties.

Darrell Williams is another reason why we need to demand the system be changed so that innocent people have a chance at a fair trial.

I feel for the 2 females, no one should have to go thru what they went thru. At the same time, why wait 15 months after it happened? Then your only evidence in the case is picking Darrell out of an OSU basketball team photo, again 15 months later. That’s not right! This was basically a “he say, she say” trial & Darrell had to be made an example of…. Sad!

Keep kidding yourself, but you can’t disquise the truth. A jury isn’t gonna miss it on this simple case. The girls told the truth; DW didn’t even testify.
