After watching Coach Gundy and staff bring in a couple of hundred "two and three star" recruits on scholarship, I've been blown away by their ability to evaluate and coach-up talent like Kendall Hunter and Justin Blackmon.

As far as I can tell, the star ranking system does not take into account a player's dedication, discipline, and heart; but merely a student's athleticism, size, strength, speed, and their team's overall record.

I trust OSU's coaching staff to continue to recruit outstanding athletes who demonstrate the character and values the university holds dear.

OSU IS in on the rise after several good seasons followed by last years great season including the rout of OU and tough final Bowl game with Stanford. That and the exciting high scoring offense featuring some of the bests players in the Country. Success attracts and begets success. All of this success is attracting some of the best recruits in the nation who want to be part of a program that is among the best in the Nation. Too bad OU seems to have peaked and is just stumbling around...perhaps they can step up there game this year and be more competitive...
