They have persevered through some difficult circumstances, both on and off the field.

Pitching and defense have sustained them for most of the season and while the bats were “cold” per se, they weren’t finding any holes in the defense. They have maintained the same approach at the plate and it has been paying off down the stretch.

Whaley, McCurry, and Rea have really been swinging it well lately. Saulyer Saxon stepped up when given an opportunity this weekend and came up with the goods.

The home stretch of the season, starting Friday night in Tulsa, will be really be entertaining.
