Finally, thursday night we're done with this insanity. It won't mean much anyway, where you go in the draft, it's what you do once you get to your respective team.

Brandon Weeden should sell himself. People shouldn't be having to sell his talents or his possibility as a pro player. He's got a body of work to back up his hype. What does Tannehill have?

Weeden is posted as the probable 5th pick at QB----the fact is---He beat ALL four of the ones picked above him and several othere who have the stats, but were not coming out----He should at least be #3. He beat Foles twice

All these NFL people need to be thinking about is what a guy can give them in the next 5 years. That's a tenure (optimisically) as a coach or GM of a bad team and the lifespan of a player's first contract before free agency. I can't see how Tannehill in any way looks like a better 5-year prospect than Weeden right now (and this is coming from an OU fan). The QB premium is absurd, but that's a different issue than ordering Weeden and Tannehil as pro prospects.

I'll be interested to see just where Weeden does go, first round or second. I will be interested too in Tannehill's career, as well as Luck's and RG3s. Wonder too if there are any lesser known good qbs out there who are wondering if they will be selected, like from Division II or something.

I have always thought the Tannehill frenzy was crazy. Did CBS or ESPN's talking heads ever watch the games on television or even bother to read the stats after the game?

In QB comparisons, Weeden is the only one who is undefeated against all competition in this year's draft. Granted, Andrew Luck is the preferred choice, but if you want a QB that will win games for the next five years, I'll take Weeden.

It must be hard for a young quarterback to go into the NFL and be asked to the new leader. Weeden gets respect because he respects his fellow teammates. He's a hard worker and a very smart athlete who's been around a while and he would fit into any number of NFL programs right away. Tannehill or Weeden? I want Weeden. He's very personable, a nice guy, and won't embarrass your program. He'll help you win games if you have good personnel to support him. He can't do it alone. No one can, but he can be a great puzzle piece for teams which seem lost on offense.
