Ford reminds me of the guy who tried to take his run and gun offense from Loyola Marymount to the NBA and got smoked. Ford’s in over his head. He can recruit, but he can’t coach at this level.

Yes, the OU loss was hard to take, but the Missouri win was fun, and the Texas one also. This year we got to see a lot of kids mature and become players and men. I liked the way Christian Saeger stepped up and played these last few games. Soucek, if he bulks up some and works on his defense, will be really good next year. We’ve had all the bad luck this year, so perhaps we’ll get the flip side of that next year. So long to Page. He was a pleasure to watch.

I like the job Travis Ford is doing. Dang, everything in the world that could go wrong, has this year. And still they’re holding up pretty well. I think if OSU had OU’s schedule this year, they’d be about 18-14 right now, and on the cusp of receiving at least an NIT bid. Yes, I like the class this year, and the new class coming in. I don’t think I’d want anyone but Ford right now. Go Pokes! Forget everything and play for tonight!
