Are you kidding me? O-State’s first BCS game against their former coach, the ‘Hat’ himself? The guy who built it up and left it to Mike Gundy, his protege, to take it to the next level? It makes a whole lot of sense and is way better than expecting the Wolverines to travel a big crowd anywhere other than Pasadena. That said, who cares? The Cotton will eventually, and probably sooner than later, be the next BCS bowl since it moved to the newest super-venue in Jerry World. I’d be fine watching my Pokes take on the 3rd SEC finisher at Cowboys Stadium if the BCS dummies up. Let’s get it on Razorbacks!!!

OSU fans travel to bowls EXTREMELY well and the BCS would see this. We’d especially have a huge following if it was to a relatively close location like the Sugar Bowl. Jerry is totally off base on this one. Now if OSU slips up forget it. But if we make it to Bedlam unbeaten bring on the BCS!

It’s not about the best teams playing each other, it’s about who will bring in more revenue. Michigan is terrible this year but they may get the BCS bid over a one loss OSU team because they will bring in more revenue. They will also get blown out in any BCS game, but a good game is not important obviously.

All this talk of ‘guru’ is a steaming pile. As a matter of fact, in his expertise area of basketball, for the past 5 years he only ranks 11th in the list of people who do ‘bracket projections’. He is actually behind the other tool, Joe Lunardi.

Michigan is going to lose at least one more, if not two more, games. He will be changing his tune real soon.
