Seems that I read somewhere that the PAC12 would not add any teams this year, due to Texas LHN. UO was the little brother to Texas and even Boren couldn’t help get UO into the Pac12. Most people thought that UO was so sports powerful that all conferences would reach out to them. Now we know the truth. As Texas goes, so goes UO and probably OSU.

You take away football from OU and they have no influence or say in the matter when it comes to the Big 12. They’re inferior in every other sport. Ok, they’ve made the tournament in women’s B-Ball. I’ll give ‘em that. O-Who?

Ah, I am reminded why I hate oklahoma university and texas. I wonder if it would be better if we renamed the conference the big outex and instead of football games we could take turns worshiping statues of david boren and dodds? Don’t remember hearing the t sips in Norman whining so loudly about revenue sharing til Texas got network. Seems like last year they were content with taking more than their share of Nebraska and Colorado settlements, now that somebody one upped them they suddenly are interested in fairness? Give me a break.

It’s funny how you never hear anybody saying they want OSU. It’s like they’re an after-thought in conference expansion. OSU should be grateful that big brother OU let’s them come to the party with them, because if it ever got to a point where a conference wanted only OU and Texas and the deal was too good for either school to pass up, OSU would end up being the newest member of Conference USA.

Like OSU actually had a choice in the matter, the only reason they still went on with their BOR meeting and Hargis’ annoucement to stay committed to the Big-12-2-1 is to make it seem like they are remotely relevant. Silly aggies
