This is something that you just don’t believe can or will happen, even when logic and the doctors tell you it is coming. I can only wish Coach Spencer and his family the best right now and in the future. They have a tough road ahead of them and it will take a while to find the best way to handle it.

Football is a very distant second in the scheme of life when a friend is in need of your love and support during his time of loss. I suspect he will not be the only Cowboy in attendance; Glenn and his boys are on my mind and in my prayers. Pokes have a long tradition of holding each other up until strength returns after a personal loss.Mike is a family man, Glenn is Poke family, Mike’s presence is being with family. Perfect.
