You have some big shoes to fill as Brandon Chatmon was very good at what he did and what you now do. I really like hearing about the freshmen and the young guys and how they are progressing. A lot of times people seem to forget about these guys for 2 or 3 years and then they burst on the scene again. Updates on the younger players every now and then would be very exciting to me and to others as well I am sure.

My guess for the apts. where Mike Gundy lived in 1991? Casa Mia. But that guess is only based on their proximity to the stadium/practice field. You don’t have to tell me if I’m right.

Forgot to add. One difference between Phoenix and Stillwater… this week’s high T. was 118oF. But it is a dry heat (or so they say) with humidity at a low of 13%. Still, it gives a different meaning to “conditioning drills.”

Gina… As an OSU grad and avid fan and having spent 16 years in Phoenix, I can say that your evaluation of OSU vs ASU is right on. It would have been much different before all the renovation programs that have gone on at OSU. You will find that the OSU fan base might actually be a little more diehearted than the ASU people. But ASU’s feeling about AU (which I am sure you are aware of) will give you a hint about how the OSU types feel about OU.

Ask someone at NewsOK the Oklahoman what they were thinking publishing that odd article that was written in the wake Gundy v. Jenn that was a hogepoge of things slamming OSU about success in football and the medical program in Tulsa. I would have posed it to those persons directly but they closed the comment section. I haven’t really read or looked at anything to do with OKC news and NewsOK since that article.

The pistolsguy blog said some nice thing about you so I decided to check out your post.

My point here really is be wary of your new employer as they are dumb sea basses when it comes to most things involving Orange.

I’m just glad there is going to be someone at this establishment who is to be devoted to OSU. About time. Seriously, it is great that you are living in Stillwater! No offense to previous writers, but they always seemed to hastily compile OSU stories just enough to balance out their more thought out and more frequent OU stories. I understand the popularity difference, I do. Its just nice that the gap is starting so close. Best of luck to you. I’m looking forward to seeing how you do!
