It will be decided on the field. If Blackmon isn't playing at 50% we beat Oklahoma by 2 scores. He would have either caugh 20 passes and 4 tds or someone else would have. The preseason rankings should be done awaywith and no polls until conference play starts. The reason that playoffs or the bowl system will not work is the presupposition that if it is Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama,or how about Notre dame they are immediately a contender because of tradition. We beat A&M and yet we aren't better this year? They had a new quarterback but we played without key players. I will be suprised that we don't beat them again. However, that is why the games are played.

Mike, and poor Chris (contructive?), you guys are so right. I should end my life now. I know that is what the World, and you two high flyers, want. Now, where is my gun?

Oh, and thanks Mike, now that I know that I can't feel sorry for anyone (thanks to you), I will no longer feel sorry for poor Chris (contructive?). Now, where did I put my life? it was here a minute ago.

There is still hope for you Chris. You proved you can count to 31.

You guys make this too easy, but the both of you made me laugh so much. Please, can I have some more?

BTW, anyone who lists Dez is a putz like him. He got screwed for sure. Twice actually, first by the Sooner SOB who dropped a dime on him, (I say it was Barry Swizler, bff of "Prime Time"), and then the second time with the NCAA penalty of indefinite suspension 3 games in to the season for NOT breaking any NCAA rules. BTW, he was not under oath when questioned, not represented my counsel, (a monumental F up by OSU compliance staff and heads should have rolled!), and its not even against the rules of the NCAA to lie about a non violation. They are a gold-plated joke. The NCAA has patted major offenders like Reggie Bush, the dude who won the NC at 'Bama last yr, OU, Kelvin, OU again, Rhett Bhoner, and the whole Norman crook crowd including Bobby Stoopid who all know very well all those guys had do-nothing jobs at Big Red Spurts and Infarts. Bottom line? Dez is a selfish idiot who put himself ahead of his teammates and OSU. He deserves no accolades whatsoever.

Okay, without any research here you go:
1. Barry
2. Bob Fenimore. (Anyone else play both ways, return all kicks and lead the Pokes to an undefeated season and a Sugar Bowl victory? No.
3. Mike Gundy. (by far the most underrated QB in Big 8 history. For those too young to have seen it first hand, the dude had uncanny wheels, and not just the sprinter, straight line kind. He twisted, sprinted in all directions, and never took his eyes off the receivers. He was unique, and without him Barry Sanders has no Heisman trpphy IMHO).
4. Thurman Thomas. Thermal could do it all day, every day, before AD was born!
5. Terry Miller. (should have won the Heisman, and probably would have had that idiot DB not tried to run out the endzone with an int against Colorado that would have clinched a Big 8 championship. As it was we finished in a 3 way tie with the Buffs and someone else who I don't recall. Nebr maybe.
6. Raushawn Woods.
7. Ernest Anderson.
8. Leslie O'Neal. (sp?)
9. Rusty Hilger. (No Joke man! This guy was, hands down, the best NFL QB out of OU/OSU until Sam B. came along. Also had a solid Poke career in the late Jim Stanley and early Jimmy Johnson yrs. Won the 1983 Bluebonnet Bowl pretty much single handedly, although that defense was stout, and we were playing Grant Teaff's Baylor Bears.)
10. Hart Lee Dykes. (Too bad his kneecaps were like lightbulbs. Would have loved to see him across from Irving Fryar catching balls from Jim Plunkett for my Pats! Was Plunkett still there? Maybe not. He was a cross between the raw talent and ball-hawkishness of J. Blackmon, and the deceptive speed and elusiveness of R. Woods. If you threw a ball into a crowded endzone he's always come down with it, but if you really wanted to see what he could do, you could throw a wadded up $100 bill in there.)

Paul. Barry Sanders didn't even play about 5 - 4th quarters in 1988 because OSU was so far ahead. Granted the defense wasn't great but we pounded most teams that year-- you are a complete moron and loser-- too bad Sanders is the best RB to ever play the game- Go crawl back into ur loser hole.

Jerry Sherk is the best defensive lineman nest to Leslie O,Neal. Maybe its a tie.

Note to Richard.. John Ward was a defensive tackle not on offense. Later in the pros, they let him play some offensive tackle, but he had injuries. He played the other tackle with Jerry.

Between D. Lines,
I bet you spend all your time on chat sites and blogs trying to tear other people down because it makes you feel better about yourself. You offer nothing but insults and criticism -nothing contructive, nothing gained because you have accomplished nothing in your life. My opinion was only 11 lines long, but you managed 31 lines of negativity. I'm sure your way of thinking undermines every relationship in your life: family, friends and business. You are a coward and a loser. I wish you the worst that life has to offer.
