Really hard to guess or even come close to a guess this season.

I see Page and Brown starting and probably Nash if he has any work ethic.

After that???

I hope Gulley is back and healthy because a Gulley Brown back court would be tough on d. If I knew Gulley was healthy I’d put him in the starting lineup but I don’t know if we can roll with Gulley, Page and Brown at the 1,2,3?

G Fred Gulley- Ball handling & perimeter defense.

G Markel Brown- w/Gulley could be best defensive backcourt around.

F J.P Olukemi- Scorer and athletic finisher on the break.

F LeBryan Nash- Superstar recruit. NBA skillset.

F Michael Cobbins- Makes for an undersized but very athletic frontcourt. Guys who can really run.

Uh, is there any plan to introduce Olukemi to the pass? Seriously now, I don’t believe I saw the man pass the rock in the half-court set inside of 8 feet from the half-court line in either NIT game. It was 1- receive ball 2- ball juke left 3- move right and put it on the floor heading for the goal 4- whistle! Charging!! Good Job JP. Winning! Hello! Tiger blood…

actually Ivan was on 6 7 just like Moses and thin like Cobbins– Cobbins is probably an inch taller than McFarlin was– thing is McFarlin was a really good athlete and smart, plus good defender.

Why do some of you think that scoring points is the end-all reason to start? Keiton Page will start and SHOULD start because of everything else he brings. He has the highest basketball IQ on the team, the most experience, and the best feel for Coach Ford’s offense.

Georgia Poke, the only reason Gulley hasn’t “lived up to his potential” is because he had to sit the year due to an injury. Before that, he played one season. Should all players “live up to their potential” in their first year on campus?

Joe, OSU doesn’t need a “true” big man. They just need post players that are smart and work hard. When they made the Final Four in ’03 their center was Ivan MacFarlin and he was 6’9.” He got the job done because of his intelligence.

play small & fast uptemop like Ford did at Umass. sub JPO, Gulley, Guerrero, Shaw, JUCO, a bunch. Williams is done at OSU. Would be nice to recruit a big guy to bang. Been awhile since we have had a true big man.

Starting 5 too tougfh to call right now. It will be interesting, and telling, to see what develops next year. A hefty percentage of Ford’s recruits have not contributed a lot for a variety of reasons, including character. Some have not lived up to billing/potential. See Penn, Gulley, D. Williams, Shaw. When you only get a few recruits each year, you have to pick the right guys, and then you have to coach them up. There is still time, but a stench is building on Eddie Sutton Court.
