Some people no matter how much they learn and offense will still be average play callers. I think Gundy is a good player caller just too much to handle head coaching and calling plays at least long term.

Whatever helps you recognize and be 1 step ahead of the opponent. Hmm..maybe playing playstation? I also think you have to recognize your players limits and what has the best probablity of working at a given time.
