Seems this article is out of date since I have heard of nobody having decommitted and about two or three JC players say they are recommitting to OSU. Wouldn't be surprised if OSU receives more highly rated recruits in February, but the class is pretty full.

Good reporting and thank you. I have watched Guyer play five times this year and as much as I really like J.W., the Stewart kid is a true star. He is as good as R.W. McQuarters in all phases. His punt return against Abilene Cooper at Cowboys Stadium a couple weeks ago, not to mention one of the best INT's I have seen in years at any level, really impressed me. He has the opportunity to be the best player on the field and is a lock down corner even undersized. You should be writing about this kid.

You missed is point Bob- he is saying if there were OU- they wouldn't check to see if a recruit was still committed acting like it really would hurt recruiting. The same things are not said when it's OU players and OU coaches who leave because a lot of the Oklahoma writers are OU fans or grew up OU fans and have a bias. It's just the flat out truth. Nothing wrong with this article Helsley does a good job, but there is a bias.

Dale, there is no rule (nor SHOULD there be), against the media types talking to recruits at any university! What planet are you from, again??? Certainly not planet Earth!

Glad you media coaches are working behind the sceen with the OSU recruits.

BTW -- Did you check on any of the Sooner recruits?

This should be an NCAA violation talking to recruits in this manner.
