I am from outside Pittsburgh and graduated in 1978 from WVU. I have leartned not believe anything in the Pittsburgh press and media regarding WVU. The Pittsburgh press and media will do anything to stir up trouble for the Mountaineers. So if it comes from a Pittsburgh source you can expect it to have a negative spin and impact on the Mountaineers. Just believe it.

I am prpo Bill Stewart. So, given how much Coach Stew loves West Virbinia and the WVU Mountaineers I can believe that he would want to place WVU in the best position possible. The guy is too honorable an dedicated to do anything otherwise in my opinion. Look at his reocrd, no season with more than three loses.

Also, I was at WVU from 1873 to I 1978. I was there whewn the student body boohed Bobby Bowden out of Morgantown. And yes he left and went on to win a national championship at Florida State. I can gratefully say that I was one of the people not boohing. My comment was that Bobby Bowden was a lot better coach than people gave him credit for.

I hope we aren't making the same mistake with Bill Stewart.

Coach Stew saw the WVU football program through what could have been disasterous times. H eprevented that from happening and kept the ship on the course. I believe few people could have done as well as Coach Stew.

I hope the media reports are correct and that Holgorsen does become offensive coordinator. I was not a fan of Jeff Mullen. I also hope that if Bill Stewart is stepping aside that this is a transition plan and that Holgorsen does become the head coach.

Finally, realize Oliver Luck has a great head on his shoulders. The man was a Rhode Scholar candidate. He will be positioning all parties concerned in the best position possible for retention of everyone's dignity, future success and greater respect, including West Virginia University.

It should say if not it above. Anyway I do want to say I respect OK ST., they have been a force since Mike Gundy took over and he has had a chance to build the kind of offense he needs. I am not sure how much Holgorsen runs the offense because I see Mike working the sideline like a mad man, but I hope the things Mike knows has rubbed off on Holgorsen. I dont think OK St. will be a loser in this situation either. Gundy will reload at OC. as he is just as much as the OC as anyone that will fill the position. Good Luck to the Cowboys in the future.
