I don't really fault the DOk staff for doubting OSt to some extent, but those who pick the game to be won by Texas or think OSU will only win by 6 or 10, but their predictions reveal a degree of ignorance of the relative strengths and weaknesses of the two teams based in this season's results. As a season ticket holder and lifelong fan of the Cowboys I can say without arrogance that I know the team very well and am confident that this year's team doesn't suffer the weaknesses of teams past that cause those predictions and the Texas team they are about to take on certainly doesn't possess the comparable superiority of those former Texas teams that overcame big leads by OSU to beat them. Pokes 45 Horns 24. The only way it's close is if OSU suffers a key injury (knock wood) or pukes down it's collective leg and turns it over 5 or more times.

I see Oklahoma State up 31-10 @ the half. But no Texas comeback this year. Pokes keep the peddle to the floor in a 59-17 win!! Orange Power! Go pokes!!! Blackmon has 4 tds this game. But the X factor will be either Joesph Randle or Bo Bowling!! Can't wait till Bedlam!!!!

Brandon, you the man! I'd just like to say that I appreciate your objective journalism. You're very refreshing amongst a DOK staff who see everything in crimson and creme. You have excellent writing skills too! Stay true to what you do! You might not get the hits that Tramel does, but, you're far more apprciated as an objective journalist.

Those picking Texas to win at least have the good sense to make it a shootout score, like 44-41 or so! There is no way Texas will stop OSU from scoring 40. So that kind of score is the only possible way UT could win, except that they have in no way demonstrated the offensive firepower to score 40 themselves. Their high-water mark was 34, against Rice and Wyoming. Other than the KSU game (in which Blackmon did not play), 34 points is the LOWEST number of points OSU has scored in its other 8 games, against Tech. Hard to see how UT wins a shootout!
