I just hope Blackmon has learned his lesson. He has always seemed to be a model citizen and student. I believe that he is fortunate to get only one a game suspension. Good luck with your future decisions, Justin.

In retrospect, it’s fair punishment, a one game suspension for a silly misguided opportunity to get to go see the Dallas Cowboys. Who, who has ever gone to college, has not sped away from Stillwater or Norman to attend a concert or what not in OKC or Tulsa? Like I said, when I was in college at OSU it wasn’t uncommon at all to be a passenger in a car approaching 100 mph. I didn’t like it then, I still don’t. Thankful I didn’t lose my life as many have and as many will. Here’s my beef! Don’t want to hear Gundy say suspensions and injuries to receivers is why K-State beat us! Don’t want to hear it! It’s getting to sound like a broken record. There are some media people at the DOK who would undermine OSU’s hopes for winning the Big XII South.

Gundy handled it. It is a no big deal class C misdeamenor. He evidently was not intoxicated. He did speed. Many of the comments are made by OSU haters who take every opportunity to put OSU and its players down. If these naysayers want to get on their high horse what about Madu….seems he got a pass for being DRUNK and Driving…..and I mean really drunk.

It’s crazy trying to dig into how they got tickets.

One of the kids paid his $400 bail… and Justin is from Plainview, a very upper-middle class to wealthy area in Ardmore. It’s not like he couldn’t afford the tickets!

Why not ask… how did they pay for the gas to get there? Humm… must be something illegal!

DUI or not he’s still the best receiver in the country. OSU should beat KSU just fine without him then Tramel will gripe and complain because one game wasn’t enough. Right Ironhead kick Dusty D off the team then let him back on under pressure. Make him go to rehad with an OU counselor. Boy thats Stoops is tough isnt he? Until Boren tells him what to do. Right Tramel said the same things about Moses Madu right..? Gundy handled it externally where everyone can see. What about Broyles any pics ? Advice to Stoops about how to handle it? Tramel knows who owns him- DOK.

Handle it like Stoops did with dusty dvoracek you mean (ie kick him off the team for a season)? Read Tramel’s blog he’s dead on. The only way to correct the behavior is to suspend him.

You don’t get arrested for DUI for no reason, he refused the test (people who have not been drinking take the test to prove they have not). There was plenty of evidence or he would not have been arrested. It’s as simple as that.

Hmmm heres how Berry reacted to OU’sMadu being arrested(twice the legal limit)

No arrest pic- no telling Stoops what to do. Makes a difference where you get your checks from.
