Hello. This can be kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to glimpse like you’ve obtained it? I also use a blog and am actually searching to alter about the theme, nevertheless am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am quite new to all of this …so i am just not good exactly how you can try to to it all yet. Too bad that the rest of the Oklahoma media don’t follow your lead Brandon. This whole spectacle has made me realize just how much uglier our society has become. It seems that we wait for people to make a mistake and then we pile on them. I still wish to point out that it is basically wrong for the Oklahoman, Channel 9, Channel 4, and Channel 5 to show a 20 year old kid’s mug shot on public media. That is a practice that is wrong and should be discontinued, especially when all he got was a glorified traffic ticket. Hold your head up Justin, you will be fine.

Bravo BC!!! Truly great journalism!!! You waited until all the facts were out and then made your points beautifully. Too bad no one else at this paper has the same journalism integrity. JB screwed up and is taking it like a man. I wish he hadn’t made the decisions he made, but that’s life and he will learn greatly from this. I think a one game suspension is a fitting punishment for violating team rules. Time for the rest of the team to step up and go beat K-state!! Go Pokes!!!

For Howie, I wish to clarify that I am not “an ignorant, unreasonable, biased sooner fan” but rather an ignorant, unreasonable, biased Wildcat fan. So for me at least, one game suspension is enough. lol (Though I would imagine your Cowboys will still have more than enough to dispatch K-State this weekend.)

I was a scholarship basketball player many, many years ago, and knowing our coaches then, I would guess that had I been picked up late at night by the police and charged with both under-age drinking and speeding, that I would have been kicked off the team. Today is a different time and place, I know. Society seems to be more forgiving of such transgressions.

What is his free pass? He’s admitted his mistake. He’s going to pay the fine. He’s also going to sit out of the game. I’m sure he’ll be doing the stair master.

What else do you want him to do? What does the average citizen who’s done what he’s done have to do? Pay the fine and that’s it.
