Brandon. Good for you for writing the follow-up piece admitting that you missed on your prediction for the Tech game. I’m a long time Cowboy fan and I didn’t feel good about their chances in Lubbock, either. Happily the Cowboys proved us both wrong.

Kyle, I think Gundy has to be. Who else would be the frontrunner as of today? As far as the sellout, I will ask about it.

Ben, Good question. I will ask Brandon next time I see him.

Mark, I don’t know where you’ve been but we’ve written at least two stories about Dan Bailey already this season and we’ve consistently written about Sharp’s kickoffs too.

Cowboyup, I never really thought about Blackmon’s nickname and the NCAA but if I worried about how the NCAA might perceive things, I might never write a story, because who knows how they perceive certain things.

Here is a great question for you to ask Weeden in the future.

How would you compare the wear/tiredness of you arm after a football game to pitching a baseball game? Would it be like pitching 6 innings or complete game?

BTW – Initially, we thought the game would come down to turnovers. It seems that by scoring 21pts early the Cowboys simply out scored TT’s total output. Nice to think about how OSU got all the points they needed in the 1st quarter.

What I was most impressed with was the blocking both by the O-line AND by the running backs and wide receivers. The yards on runs and catches OSU got were made possible because of the open field blocks made by those other players hustling down field. That effort will go a long way as the season progresses and the schedule gets tougher.

Brandon I realize that the Daily O can tolerate only so much glitter for OSU and maybe that is why you have missed the biggest story of the year……The story isn’t about the Cowboy Triplets. It is about the Cowboy Quintuplets. Harold Bailey and Quinn Sharp are incomparable. Who has a pair of kickers like them in this country? Who? Ask your biased collegues to come up with more enviable skill position players than these two? These five? Check the stats! Man up and write it!!!!!

Brandon – great write up! Gundy has done a great job this year as a full-time head coach and it shows. Is there a better DC/OC combination in the country?

Also – after last year’s NCAA issues for Dez, maybe a “money” nickname for Justin Blackmon isn’t such a good idea, huh?
