ra5505, do some research please. Travel would not have been an issue in the PAC 16. You’d still be playing the majority of the same teams every year and would only have to go to the coast once a year. The SEC would have been a mistake for any team that wants to continue dominating and playing for conference championships.

OKHusker, as an OSU fan sometimes I wish Mr. Pickens would just shut up. I get it. He likes to speak his mind. But try to have a little bit of tact and understand that things can come back to bite you.

I think Boone’s memory is going fuzzy and he has to keep talking hoping to eventually make sense. He just sounds like a grumpy old redneck homer for OSU. Maybe he’s remembering the Huskers kicking OSU’s butt for something like 25 times starting in 62 and Dad being a loudmouth blowhard. Always thought of him as a smart level headed guy, but open mouth, insert foot. Nebraska has one of the top five programs in college football even after some down years and a national following. T Boone you just proved yourself an idiot.

Nebraska wanted out and they got out. Good for the Husker’s.
They are located in Big-10 country. Big-10 is a better more
exposed conference that pays more money, lots more. Driving
distance for most games. PAC-10 was a joke for the fans, unless you can afford an airline ticket every weekend. JC and
Boren are clueless. Stoops is almost as bad with what he’s said. Colorado is a perfect fit for the PAC-10. The most
Liberal school in the conference. Boone is right. We have no
business in the PAC-10. If we had leaders at OU that had a
pair, the SEC would be the most logical place. I think that if
a truth serum was given to Boren and JC, this PAC-10 deal has been in the works for awhile and going west to be around
all their liberal brother’s was ok with them.
