Don’t be stunned if there’s a change to the starting lineup

Oklahoma State sophomore Marshall Moses had his second double-figure rebounding game of the season against

Missouri
, and he played all the crunch-time minutes in the post against the Tigers. So does that mean Moses will take over starting duties from Malcoln Kirkland?

Travis Ford said he’s torn.

“I don’t know,” Ford said. “It’s definitely in my mind but I kinda like having that option. Malcoln hasn’t hurt us in the first two or three minutes of a game. He gets you going and you always have

Marshall to go to.”

It seems Ford likes to have two guys to give him energy off the bench.

“(Moses) is going to play 25 minutes,” Ford said. “Whether I start him or not, I just kinda like having that guy over there, two guys that are really coming off the bench now. He’s gonna play 22, 25 minutes. At least he should if he’s playing as well and as hard as he is. He’s doing a pretty good job, he’s working hard.”

No guarantees, but it also wouldn’t be completely stunning to see Keiton Page get the start over Byron Eaton at

Nebraska. On the radio Ford alluded to benching players who weren’t getting their teammates the ball, something Eaton has struggled with in OSU’s recent games. Page ran with the first-team offense in practice on Thursday.

Got to love the Pawnee Kid.

I have been impressed with Little Country

I talked with some guys from Fronier School who played against Page last year and he had an off night and only scored 65 on them, they said when you put your hands in his face that he would close his eyes and hit nothing but net..

You may be right, Andrea. Young Sutton staked his career on a point guard who wore a headband for attention and averaged more turnovers than assists. Now Ford has a point guard who started the season wearing orange leggins for attention, a point guard who in the final minutes of the Missouri game did not control the game and resulted in multiple team turnovers. A point guard who kept driving into trouble without the slightest intention of kicking the ball to any of the open guys hanging around the 3-point line.
