Like many libraries in the country, Boston Public is struggling to serve their citizens while at the same time managing a major hit to their budget. 

Yes, there are so many competing needs in government funding, but libraries are the last refuge for families without home access to information and reading materials. And when times are tough, more families have to make cuts in their own budgets, meaning the library becomes their source for information, reading and recreation.]]></description>
