This should be a great event. Many of these poets have also participated in the annual Woody Guthrie Festival each July in Okemah, where there is an impressive Saturday afternoon poetry reading of works inspired by Woody’s life and legacy:

It will be great to see Jim Chastain at the Edmond Woodyfest too, and his special “Life Is Real” site at newsok.com continues to be an awesome project:

Six of Oklahoma’s best, all in one place. And I hope I can do Okemah this year. It always sounds like so much fun.
