No kidding Bob. The government has destroyed downtown. Think of how great downtown would be without any government intervention. For example, have you seen the street down by the ballpark??? It is completely full of water. Dumb government. They flooded it so bad THEY EVEN FLOAT BOATS IN IT now. Also, I mean MAPS, come on, another communist government exercise. We should build a monument for this and go down and pray for a return to freedom every day until the government goes away.

Also, one time I got food poisoning from Trattoria del Centro so calling it a GREAT restaurant may be an overstatement.

I was talking to someone today, and he said that the owner of Trattoria del Centro, now closed down, told him that crews tore up the sidewalk in front of her restaurant THREE different times and reconstructed it each time. And I suppose that the taxpayers of OKC paid for all three of those destructions and reconstructions of that sidewalk, all of which also no doubt contributed to the closing down of this great restaurant. I wonder if someone will ever erect a monument to all the businesses destroyed by government work downtown.

I drove by Steve's desk this morning and he was not there. Then I drove back by later and he was "standing around talking" to someone else. Unbelievable.

More surveys to come.

I could give you updates on the Sandridge construction crew. I feel like I know them all by name. The demolition is literally 30 feet outside my window for the past 9 months. Jack hammering for the past 3 straight weeks. Been a very interesting demolition to watch.
