Granddad Feels Your Pain

Reconstruction of Robinson Avenue between Main and Park is proceeding ..... but not fast enough for those most inconvenieced by the ongoing Project 180 makeover of downtown.


Believe it or not, this very same stretch of road was ripped up in 1975, and is shown in this photo (pre-Urban Renewal demolition). Robinson Renaissance building is shown to the far left in boht photos.

Wasn’t it also torn up in the late-1990s when fiber optic lines were being put in all over downtown?
